Heckler shunned from NSW press conference

A relentless heckler has faced stiff opposition while interrupting NSW Labor leader Luke Foley during a press conference in Sydney's CBD.

The disgruntled man approached the NSW opposition leader, shadow treasurer Ryan Park and the surrounding press pack in Martin Place around midday on Wednesday.

He interjected when Mr Foley said Premier Mike Baird should "stand up and take a glove" to his Liberal counterparts, following cuts to NSW schools and hospitals in the latest federal budget.

"When you say stand up and take a glove, do you want to be violent with him?" the man asked.

"Are you from the media, mate?" Mr Foley replied.

"I'll talk to you in a minute. If we can just finish this then I'm happy to have a chat."

The dejected man, who said he was being treated like "just a nobody", continued to interrupt the conference before a journalist repeatedly told him to "bugger off" and "go away".

"You're just completely ruining everybody trying to do their job," the male journalist said.

The journalist and the man then engaged in a scuffle before both agreeing to leave the scene.
