Seven hotels and clubs were robbed from early June to late August, while a shop on Kingsgrove was targeted in a drive-by shooting.

Police also say a man was forced to hand over money and the keys to his car in September, while another was threatened, kidnapped from his home and taken to an ATM by a group on November 10.

A 23-year-old man has been charged with various offences, including breaking and entering, aggravated kidnapping, failing to stop under Skye's Law and stealing a car.

He has been refused bail to appear before Kogarah Local Court on Thursday.

Two women, aged 41 and 19, and a 17-year-old girl, have been charged with aggravated kidnapping and breaking and entering.

The two women have been refused bail to appear in Kogarah Local Court on Thursday, while the girl has been granted strict conditional bail to appear before a children's court on December 18.
