Greens MP John Kaye battling cancer

Upper-house NSW Greens MP John Kaye has been diagnosed with cancer and will undergo treatment this month.

The 60-year-old will be unable to return to state parliamentary duties to resume his duties before March 30.

"John's portfolio duties will temporarily be distributed amongst his Greens MP colleagues in the NSW Parliament," a Greens statement said.
