Good Samaritan's throat slashed by bottle
AAP
A good Samaritan who stepped between a feuding couple in the NSW Riverina region has been rewarded with a broken beer bottle to the throat.
The 28-year-old man tried to calm a yelling match between a man and woman on a Wagga Wagga street in the early hours of Saturday morning.
It's alleged the feuding man, 37, then smashed a beer bottle on the victim's face, slashing his throat.
