Two men glassed in Sydney pubs

A man has been taken to hospital after he was allegedly glassed at a southwest Sydney pub while celebrating his birthday.

The 24-year-old was with a group of friends at a hotel in Condell Park on Sunday, when he was struck in the head with a glass, police said.

The incident is the second glassing under investigation, after a woman was charged with assault for throwing a glass at a man's face in Double Bay on Saturday night.

The 31-year-old woman was charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm and will appear in court next month.
