Funding boost for NSW surf life saving
AAP
The NSW government will increase the funding available to the state's 129 surf life saving clubs for upgrading facilities.
Premier Gladys Berejiklian joined Treasurer Dominic Perrottet and Sports Minister Stuart Ayres at Coogee Surf Life Saving Club on Sunday to announce annual funding for club grants would be doubled to $4 million.
Mr Ayres said the grants would be open to all clubs, regardless of whether they had received funds before, and individual grants could be as high as $350,000.
