Former Ausgrid engineer corrupt: ICAC
AAP
A former Ausgrid engineer engaged in corrupt conduct after being handed more than $252,000 in benefits from contractors and sub-contractors, the NSW state watchdog has found.
A report released on Wednesday by the ICAC showed Phillip Cresnar solicited and accepted benefits, including cash, renovation payments to his home and airline tickets, from Ausgrid contractors and subcontractors between 2008 and 2014.
The ICAC also made corrupt conduct findings against company directors from Murray Civil Works, Cloughcor, Fer-Aim, Bastow Civil and MDM Formwork for providing benefits to Cresnar.
