NSW farmers battered by the April storms will receive further assistance from the state and federal governments to get back on their feet.

Grants of up to $15,000 for clean-up and recovery will be available to beef and dairy farmers, oyster growers, egg producers and others hit by severe flooding and storms in the NSW Hunter and Central Coast that claimed four lives.

The Dungog Community Support Worker Project will also receive $145,000 to provide practical and emotional support to people badly affected by the floods.
