All-clear after flares launch NSW search

A widespread search launched after flares were spotted in the Brisbane Water National Park on the NSW Central Coast has been called off with police giving the all clear.

A search was launched after several reports of flares being sighted in bushland near Patonga on Tuesday night.

But after extensive land, sea and air search in the area with no sign of anyone in distress the search was concluded on Wednesday morning.
