Another NSW road death after horror 24hrs

A man has died after crashing his 4WD into a tree in northern NSW.

The 49-year-old was treated by emergency services in Dilkoon, about 25km north of Grafton, but died on the way to hospital on Wednesday morning.

The death takes the state's road toll to 110, which is 26 more than the same time in 2015.

It follows a horror 24-hour period on NSW roads, when five people died, including an elderly pedestrian.
