Two rural firefighters have been injured after their truck ran off the road and crashed into a gully on the NSW Central Coast.

The RFS truck was on its way to a fire on Wisemans Ferry Road on Monday evening when it rolled down an embankment into the mangroves, police say.

One man has suffering a suspected fractured collar bone and was taken to Gosford Hospital, while the other man was airlifted to Royal North Shore Hospital with suspected spinal injuries.
