Fire damages eight cars in Sydney

Several cars have been destroyed in a fire outside a mechanical repair shop in Sydney's innerwest.

Emergency services found two cars well alight outside the shop on Parramatta Road, Burwood late on Monday night.

Police say six other vehicles sustained minor damage.

It's not yet known whether the fire is suspicious.
