Fire crews contain blaze which gutted Sydney boat shed

Fire crews have contained a blaze at a boat shed in Sydney’s northern suburbs.

Fire and Rescue NSW remain at the scene on Punt Road near Bedlam Bay in Gladesville.

Heavy smoke billowed across Sydney's inner-west and Lower North Shore while teams fought the fire from Port Authority and Water Police boats. 

Smoke remains in the area and crews are working to cool LPG cylinders at the site.
