Evacuation in Sydney after gas leak

People have been evacuated from an inner Sydney suburb after workers ruptured a gas line.
A 100 metre exclusion zone has been created around the backyard of a property in Darlinghurst where the gas started leaking on Monday afternoon.
Fire and Rescue NSW say surrounding residents have been evacuated.

A gas company is attempting to isolate the leak.
