Emotional plea for missing NSW mum

The NSW parents of a missing mother-of-two who is feared dead have made a desperate plea for closure.

Carly McBride, from Belmont, disappeared eight months ago after she went to visit her daughter at an ex-partner's home in Muswellbrook in the NSW Hunter region.

She was last seen on Calgaroo Avenue about 2pm on September 30 and police believe she met with foul play.

Ms McBride's parents Lorraine Williams and Steve McBride renewed their calls for information as they continue to suffer over the 31-year-old's disappearance.

"Carly was a wonderful person - a free spirit with a bubbly personality, and a terrific mother to her two children," her emotional mother said on Tuesday.

"I miss talking to her, I miss her voice and her big belly laugh."

Her father said he hoped someone would call police with some information.

"It's devastating not knowing what happened," he said.

The family regularly write on the "Help Find Carly McBride" Facebook page, with a recent post calling for answers from the "scumbag/s who are responsible".

Police have carried out extensive searches of bushland and waterways around Muswellbrook during their investigations.

Ms McBride's then-partner Sayle Newson told Fairfax Media last year he feared the worst.

"I believe she is dead but I need the truth," he said.
