Elderly Sydney woman tied up by burglars
AAP
An elderly woman has been tied up by three balaclava-clad thieves who ransacked her northwestern Sydney home.
Police say the men forced their way into the 78-year-old's Glenorie home on Wednesday night and tied her up while they searched the house before fleeing with cash and documents in what's believed to be a targeted incident.
The woman was treated by paramedics but did not require hospital treatment.
