Parramatta Eels winger Semi Radradra has been charged with domestic violence-related offences following a complaint made earlier this week.

The 24-year-old was arrested shortly after he returned from Fiji last night and is "assisting police with inquiries" at Mascot Police station, authorities said.

Radradra returned on the same flight as Jarryd Hayne, who posted an odd video to Twitter in which he appears as a kind of composite of his former teammate, apparently by way of a digital filter.

"On my way home, see youse all soon," the Hayne/Radradra hybrid says in the short short clip.

"I just went on a holiday, what's everyone carrying on for?"

Hayne told the ABC it was pure coincidence that he was on the same flight as Radradra, who was expected to turn up to training on Monday.

"When I called the guys at Fiji Airways today, they said, 'you wouldn't believe but Semi's on your same flight'. I said 'no way', that's why I put that tweet out saying, 'God's up to something'," Hayne told the national broadcaster.

The charges against Radradra relate to complaints made by his former partner, who alleges he abused her at their Parramatta home on occasions in 2014 and 2015.
