A mother accused of being more than three times the limit is the second Sydney parent charged with drink driving while dropping children at school within 24 hours.

The 33-year-old allegedly had a blood-alcohol concentration of 0.171 when she drove through a stop sign at Lindfield, in Sydney's north, on Wednesday morning with her two-year-old daughter in the back.

She has been charged with high-range drink driving and is due to appear in Hornsby Local Court on March 3.

Meanwhile, a Sydney father was charged after driving his young children to school while almost three times the limit on Tuesday morning.

The 45-year-old allegedly blew 0.136 after dropping his two children, aged five and six, at a school in Ingleburn.

He is due to appear in Campbelltown Local Court on March 7.
