Driver charged over motorcyclist's death

A man whose ute collided with a motorcycle, killing the rider, has been charged with dangerous driving.

The 24-year-old Victorian man was driving his ute on the Hume Highway when he crashed into a 58-year-old man riding a Harley-Davidson about 3.20pm on Thursday.

The motorcyclist died at the scene and hours later the ute driver was charged with two road offences including dangerous driving occasioning death.
