Driver charged over fatal head-on crash

A man has been charged over the death of a teenager in a road crash in northern NSW.
The 19-year-old woman died on February 28, two days after the vehicle in which she was a passenger collided head-on with a ute at Dorrigo, west of Coffs Harbour.
Police say the woman suffered serious head injuries in the crash and died after her life support was switched off.

The 65-year-old ute driver was charged with dangerous driving causing death on Friday following inquiries by crash investigators.
He was granted bail and is due to appear at the Coffs Harbour Local Court on April 4.
