A man has been charged with high range drink-driving after ploughing his car into a convenience store in Sydney's west.

The three men travelling in the SUV suffered minor injuries when it smashed into the Rhodes shopfront about 3am on Sunday.

Nobody else was injured but the shop was extensively damaged.

Police say the 21-year-old driver returned a blood-alcohol reading of 0.162 and will face court later this month.
