A disability carer allegedly secretly filmed videos of himself physically and verbally abusing five vulnerable adults and sexually abusing two children in western Sydney.

Detectives arrested the 20-year-old man at a Parramatta business on Friday and charged him over the abuse at a disability care home in Mount Druitt.

The Eastern Creek man is accused of filming intimate videos of five of the homes residents, including physical and verbal abuse, between June 2019 and April 2020.

He allegedly filmed intimate and sexual abuse footage of two children aged between four and 12.

The man has been charged with 11 counts of intentionally recording an intimate image without consent, producing child abuse material, possessing child abuse material, intentionally sexually touching a child under 10 years and two counts of common assault.

He was refused bail to appear before Parramatta Bail Court on Saturday and he's been stood down from his position at the care home.

Detectives are still investigating whether any other people are involved.
