Cops uncover significant haul of cannabis

NSW police have stumbled on a significant cannabis haul after attending a house fire in Sydney's west.

Emergency services were called to a house fire on Kildare Road, Blacktown where they located 175 cannabis plants and a hydroponic set-up.

There was no one at the residence at the time and investigations are continuing.
