Coffs man charged over indecent material

A 54-year-old man has been arrested and charged in Coffs Harbour after allegedly seeking child abuse material from a teenage girl.

Detectives on the NSW north coast had been investigating the man, who had allegedly been in contact with a 14-year-old girl for a number of months.

A warrant was executed on Tuesday and the man was charged with use carriage service to solicit child abuse material and use carriage service to send indecent material to child under 18 years.
