Cocaine found after speeding car stopped

A man who was pulled over for speeding in rural NSW is now also facing drug charges after police allegedly found a package of cocaine in the boot of his sports car.

The 35-year-old man from Orange was pulled over in Young on Sunday afternoon after police clocked him driving at 100km/h in a 60km/h zone.

Police searched his Audi and found the packet of cocaine with an estimated street value of $67,000 in the boot.

The man's been remanded in custody and is due to face Wagga Wagga Local Court on Monday on drug and dangerous driving charges.
