Chinese restaurant goes up in flames

A man has been treated for smoke inhalation after a fire broke out at a Chinese restaurant in Sydney.
Fire crews were called to Liverpool Road, Ashfield, just after 9am on Wednesday after reports of a fire.
Six crews are on site and thick smoke is billowing from the two-level building, Fire & Rescue NSW said.

It's believed the fire broke out in the kitchen of the restaurant, which is at the back of the first floor.
Firefighters are searching the premises to ensure there are no other people inside.
