A man has been charged after he alleged kicked a toddler in the face in Sydney's CBD.

The parents of a three-year-old boy, who was in a pram, were walking along King Street about 11.30pm on Friday when an unknown man approached them with a number of demands before he allegedly kicked the boy in the face and ran.
