Buttrose niece facing drink-driving charge

Sydney socialite Elizabeth "Lizzie" Buttrose has been charged with drink-driving.
Buttrose, whose aunt is television personality Ita Buttrose, did not appear in Sydney's Downing Centre Local Court on Tuesday when the case was mentioned.
It is allegedly the 46-year-old's second drink-driving offence.

According to court documents, the Vaucluse resident was stopped by police on Cowper Wharf Road, in inner-city Woolloomooloo, just after midday on March 24 and recorded a blood alcohol reading of 0.058, which is in the low range.
The case returns to court next week.
