AAP
A 31-year-old British national has been extradited from Queensland to Sydney and charged with the theft of a diamond ring worth $150,000.
Matthew Mark Luke John Osborne arrived in NSW on Wednesday and was refused bail to appear at Waverley Local Court on Thursday.
He allegedly asked to see the ring at a jewellery shop on George Street in Sydney in December 2013 before grabbing it and running off.

Osborne has previously served time for stealing a rare pink Argyle diamond worth $250,000 from a Cairns jeweller, which has never been recovered.
Police say part of the Sydney ring has been found overseas.
