Boy, 14, charged over indecent assault

A 14-year-old boy has been charged with indecently assaulting a 47-year-old woman in Sydney last month.

The woman was getting something from her car which was parked on King Street in Mascot, when the boy approached her from behind and indecently assaulted her before running off. 

The woman chased him before she went home and called police. 

Detectives arrested the 14-year-old at Mascot Police Station yesterday and charged him with indecent assault. 

He is expected to appear before a children's court in late March.
