Bikie associate charged over $420K cash

A Rebels bikie gang associate has been charged with weapons and drug offences after police found a replica pistol and almost $420,000 cash during a series of raids in Sydney's southwest.

Officers from Strikeforce Raptor pulled over the man's car on Wednesday, discovering steroids, mobile phones and $6200.

The 33-year-old driver was arrested and homes at Denham Court and Hoxton Park subsequently searched.

Police seized $420,000, a replica semi-automatic pistol, small quantities of cocaine and MDMA and steroids at the properties.

The rebels associate was charged with traffic, weapons and traffic offences as well as dealing with the proceeds of crime.
