Baird lays wreath at scene of shooting

NSW is hurting along with the police force following the terror-linked killing of Curtis Cheng, Premier Mike Baird says.

"It's just such a tragic loss of life," he said on Tuesday, as he laid a wreath outside the Parramatta building where Farhad Khalil Mohammad Jabar shot the 58-year-old accountant on Friday afternoon.

"We are here to try to help them know that everyone across the state is with them and they're not hurting alone."
