Axe thrown at man during NSW dog fight

An argument over a dog has allegedly ended with a man throwing an axe at his opponent in the NSW Blue Mountains.

Two men started arguing over a dog in the national park at Glenbrook before noon on Tuesday, before the dog's owner allegedly threw an axe at the other man, narrowly missing him.

The man who threw the axe has been charged with assault and other offences, and will appear in court on Wednesday.
