Attendant threatened with gun in Cardiff

A supermarket attendant has been threatened with a shotgun during an armed robbery in NSW's Lake Macquarie region.

Police say a man entered the store in Cardiff on Wednesday night, threatening the attendant and demanding cash.

The attendant complied, with the man last seen jumping into the passenger seat of a white car in the parking lot before it sped from the scene.
