Arrest over Sydney woman's stabbing death

A man has been arrested following the death of a woman in Sydney's northwest.
Emergency services were called to a home in Quakers Hill about 6.30pm on Wednesday and found a woman suffering from a knife wound, NSW Police said in a statement on Wednesday.
The 27-year-old woman died at the scene.

A crime scene was established at the home and an investigation launched.
A 31-year-old man, who was known to the woman, was arrested at the scene.
He was taken to Blacktown Hospital for treatment.
