Alleged fraudster extradited to Sydney

A man has been extradited to NSW to face fraud charges dating back 15 years.

The 58-year-old was arrested in South Australia on Saturday, following extensive inquiries interstate and overseas.

Police say he was flown to Sydney on Thursday and taken to Mascot police station, where he was charged in relation to four warrants.

He is listed to appear at Waverley Local Court on Friday where it is expected he will be charged with a string of fraud offences dating back to 2002.
