Alleged Bondi bum toucher granted bail
A man accused of touching a woman's behind at an eastern Sydney train station has been granted bail.
Ashley Myers, 45, is charged with indecently assaulting the 34-year-old woman as he stood behind her on an escalator at the Bondi Junction station about 5pm on Friday.
Court documents allege Myers glided his hand across her buttocks.
At Parramatta Local Court on Saturday, legal aid lawyer Alexander Reetov said Myers, who appeared by video link, denied the offence.
Disputed CCTV footage of the incident showed Myers behind the woman on the escalator but not the alleged "touching or pinching of her left buttock area", Mr Reetov said.
Myers was granted conditional bail and is due to face Waverley Local Court on Wednesday.
