A yellow-footed rock-wallaby joey has arrived into the loving arms of keepers at the Wild Life Sydney zoo.

Video showed Millie the wallaby snuggled up in a custom made sack behind the office chair of keeper, Emily De Palo, at the zoo today.

The six-month-old marsupial was also shown being bottle-fed by Ms De Palo.

Millie is set to go on display at the zoo’s Wallaby Cliffs exhibit once she is old enough, the zoo said in a statement.

Yellow-footed rock-wallabies are listed as endangered, after being largely killed off in the 1800s for their fur.

The once-common species is now only found in small pockets of land in New South Wales, Queensland and South Australia.
