ABC to air tribute to John Clarke

Master satirist John Clarke will be remembered in a special half-hour tribute on the ABC to be screened on Easter Monday.

Clarke died suddenly at the weekend after collapsing while hiking in the Grampians National Park in Victoria at the age of 68.

The program, John Clarke: Thanks for Your Time, will be introduced by his long-time friend and collaborator Bryan Dawe.

It will feature former prime minister Paul Keating, comedians Gina Riley and Frank Woodley and fellow Kiwi and actor Sam Neill, among a raft of other well-known people.

It will be broadcast on Monday, April 17, at 8pm (AEST).
