$400,000 worth of ice seized in NSW bust

Almost half a million dollars worth of the drug ice has been seized in Sydney's city centre, leading to the arrest of a 16-year-old girl and two men.

The arrest came after an investigation by a strike force formed in July to investigate the commercial supply of prohibited drugs by an Asian crime syndicate.

Members of the NSW gang squad and Australian Federal Police (AFP) found about $400,000 worth of methamphetamine, or ice, police said in a statement.

On Friday morning, detectives arrested the teenager and two men, both aged 31, in Pyrmont and seized 1.2kg of methamphetamines.

They also found another 500g of methamphetamines and cash at a unit in Rhodes.

The trio have been charged with the large commercial supply of a prohibited drug.

The men will appear in Parramatta Bail Court on Saturday and the girl will appear in a children's court.
