Woman allegedly blows almost nine times over legal limit after crash

A New South Wales woman has been charged with high-range drink driving after being caught allegedly almost nine times over the legal limit.

Police were called after reports a Suzuki Swift had crashed into a fence in Cringila, just south of Wollongong about 2:20pm on Sunday.

Officers spoke with the 34-year-old female driver who was the sole occupant of the Suzuki Swift.

She was subjected to a roadside breath test which returned a positive result.

The driver was arrested and taken to Port Kembla Police Station where she provided an alleged breath analysis reading of 0.432.

She was charged with drive with high range PCA and was issued a future court attendance notice to appear at Port Kembla Local Court on August 7.
