Residents in NSW towns hit with intense rain are kayaking along streets submerged by floodwaters.
Videos taken in Macksville - a small town on the Nambucca River on the Mid North Coast - show a couple transporting their daily groceries, including a slab of beer, down a flooded street.
The area has been inundated with more than 200mm of rain in the last 24 hours with several locations being forced to evacuate.

Emergency services have received thousands of calls for help due to fallen trees, power outages, stranded cars and flooded homes.
Minister for Police and Emergency Services, David Elliott urged people to heed warnings from SES and avoid dangerous situations.
"Our SES volunteers are gearing up for a busy weekend, so before you consider doing something stupid which puts you at risk, remember that our emergency services personnel are putting their lives at risk to keep you safe," Mr Elliott said.
