$100M BOOST FOR PALLIATIVE CARE IN NSW

* 30 additional palliative care nurses in hospitals, homes and nursing homes ($5m)

* Six additional nurses in regional areas ($2.4m)

* Two specialist positions in regional areas ($795,000)

* Palliative care training for 300 nurses and other health staff ($900,000)

* Scholarships for 300 regional staff to boost palliative care skills ($300,000)

* Funding for Western Sydney services, including a 24/7 on-call, at-home specialist ($6.9m)

* Community pharmacy initiatives to improve medication management ($200,000)

* Comprehensive and integrated palliative care service development ($1m in the first year, $22m over four years).
