NSW prison escapees found in house

Two teenage prisoners are headed back to jail just a day after escaping from a minimum security prison in the NSW central tablelands.

Matthew Hayne and Eli Heigh, both aged 18, were last seen at the Oberon jail at 12.30am yesterday, police said.

They were nabbed by police 150km away from Oberon in a Goulburn house this morning.

They will be charged with escaping lawful custody.
