'All power to them': NSW Premier backs high school petition calling for gender neutral uniforms
Students from a private high school in Sydney's west have received backing from the NSW Premier in their petition to allow girls to wear pants.
Girls at Croydon's Presbyterian Ladies' College (PLC) have started a petition requesting a change of uniform to make it gender neutral.
Premier Gladys Berejiklian told 2GB radio host Ben Fordham she supports the girls "100 per cent".

"If I was a schoolgirl at one of those schools I would argue for that and I think the young girls should express their views and express them to the people responsible because that's how you make change," Ms Berejiklian said.
"All power to them.
"I commend them and hope to see change for them."
The school's principal, Dr Paul Burgis, said the school would listen to the petition.
"(The school) warmly welcomes any request to change the uniform or anything else but those requests should go through the correct channels, which for students is the Student Representative Council," Dr Burgis said.
