Missing six-year-old found 'safe and well' in Sydney

NSW Police have found a missing six-year-old girl in north-west Sydney after she disappeared from her home.

A search was mounted for the girl, who was last seen at her Baulkham Hills home at about 10.15am, police said.

She was found around midday "safe and well" by a member of the public.

Hills Police Area Command used helicopters and made loud speaker announcements in the area in a bid to find her.
