Police uncover $5.5 million worth of cannabis plants on remote NSW property
Cannabis plants worth more than $5.5 million have been seized by NSW Police after being discovered on a remote property on the state's mid-north coast.
Detectives found 1,845 plants growing on the property in Bonville, near Coffs Harbour, which they allege was being used for the large-scale cultivation of cannabis.
Two men, aged 22 and 29, have now been charged.

It follows an investigation by Strike Force Harthouse, set up by the State Crime Command's Drug and Firearms Squad in November last year, into the cultivation and supply of cannabis across NSW.
The men were arrested at the property on Williams Road just after 8am yesterday.

They were charged with cultivating a prohibited plant (large commercial quantity) and participating in a criminal group, contributing to criminal activity.
The two men will face Coffs Harbour Local Court today.
Police say investigators are working with the Department of Home Affairs regarding the visa status of the group.
