NSW nurses calling for aged care feedback

Nurses and midwives want to hear stories from patients in aged care across NSW about how cuts to healthcare have affected them.

The Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation, and the NSW Nurses and Midwives Association, have planned a national "phone-in" on June 18 for people to call with feedback and concerns about aged care.

"We'd also like to hear from children, grandchildren and other relatives of older, vulnerable Australians living in nursing homes - we need to hear about the issues they have and the stories they want to raise," NSWNMA general secretary Brett Holmes said.
