Man shot in the shoulder presents himself to hospital

Police are investigating a possible shooting after a man presented himself at Campbelltown Hospital with a gunshot wound to the shoulder.

The 39-year-old man from Wedderburn arrived at the hospital on Therry Road, Campbelltown, in Sydney's greater west, at approximately 9pm last night.

He remains in a stable condition and his injury is not considered life-threatening.

Circumstances surrounding the incident are unknown and further details of the man have not been released.

However, police are appealing for any one with information that may be able to assist their inquiries, to come forward.
