NSW mother and son found safe and well

A missing mother and her young son from the NSW Central Coast have been found safe and well after going missing for 10 days.

The woman, 39, and her son, seven, were found in Mudgee, central west NSW, on Thursday at about midday, police say.

They were last seen in the early hours of Monday, June 16, at Ettalong Beach.

The boy's grandmother had joined police in appealing for help in the search.
